Strombus sinuatus Lightfoot
The Sinuous Conch shell is colored a creamy white with yellow-brown streaks and it has a purple aperture. The spire has knobs and the lip attached to the body whorl stretches out like a bird's wing.
This shell is found in coral sand and shallow water.

Strombus listeri T. Gray
This shell is colored white with brown stripes that zig and zag across the surface. The body whorl is smoth and curved, and the spire whorls have sturdy vertical ribs which are crossed by smaller spiral riblets. The apertural lip stretches out with a flourish and resembles a loose bat's wing.
