Harpa major Röding
The Major Harp shell is thin and has a low spire. Its aperture is wide and its outer lip smooth yet bent at the top. The body whorl has approximately twelve ribs that are pointed at the shoulder. The shell is white and has brown lines shaped like those displayed by an electrocardiograph machine. The columella is mahogany in color. The sensuous shape and intricate patterns on this shell make it one of the most enchanting shells in the world.
This shell is found in shallow waters.
